Set on the foothills of Shivalik, Zirakpur is a satellite town located towards the East of Chandigarh.

Located about 12 km from Chandigarh, it is surrounded by Chandigarh Tehsil towards North , Panchkula Tehsil towards East, Dera Bassi Tehsil towards South and  S.A.S Nagar Tehsil towards West .
